Definitely quit smoking as it can cause many illnesses and medical conditions.

I would give up and take up some gentle exercise which will make you feel a lot better about yourself and help keep the weight off. As your metabolism adjusts to the non smoking the weight gain will not be an issue.

There is nothing inter-connection between smoking and gain weight. Quit smoking is very good, try to quit smoke because it will keep you healthy. Do work daily donít afraid about weight.
