Sometimes high blood pressure will return to normal if you improve your diet, lose weight, and exercise more. In other cases, medication may be necessary to bring it down if it's too high.

So yes, you can make high BP go away in some cases, especially if it wasn't very high to begin with. Try it and see. It's definitely worth trying, because life is easier if you don't need to take meds.

Incidentally, diabetes sometimes goes away when you lose weight and exercise, too. It depends on the type and severity of diabetes. As with high blood pressure, sometimes diabetes can only be controlled with medication, but in other cases lifestyle changes are enough to eliminate it.
