Many people get disappointed over doing diets and not obtaining results. It is way easier to see things in a different way. You are going to be eating healthier and not making a diet. Restricting yourself from eating different foods is not the answer to lose weight since you can be eating large portions of light products and still be gaining the extra weight you definitely do not want. The portion’s quantity of every meal is what counts but still there are some recommendations for different type of foods you might want to swap into healthier ones.
1- Try searching for natural food. The more natural it is the healthiest as well. Vegetables and fruits are definitely an important part of a healthy diet.
2- Avoid carbohydrates such as pasta, rice and white bread but if necessary make sure they are whole grain products since they will help you a lot.
3- Buy lean meat. Seafood is good for your health (unless you are allergic to it). It gives you the omega-3 you need for your diet. White meat is also very healthy as long as you do not fry it or cook it in a very unhealthy and oily way.
4- Drink water, low fat milk and drinks that are natural, that way you will avoid the unnecessary sugar ingestion.
5- Try to swap sugar for its corresponding supplement. It definitely tastes the same so there is no excuse not to try to be a little bit more careful with what you ingest.

I think that's the biggest hurdle when people want to eat healthy and lose weight is that they think they need to choose a diet plan. While there's nothing wrong with the thousands of diet plans out there, you don't have to follow a plan to eat healthy. You just need to eat smart and watch what you eat. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and avoid the soft drink and snack aisle. Eat fresh breads, fresh fish, and lean cuts of meat. You've made some great points. One other I will add is to have an annual checkup with your doctor to prevent any illnesses or diseases from happening or to stop them early on.

Well, that's an interesting and helpful information to maintain the health and live the healthy life. I drink the plenty water daily which is helpful to increase the digestion power and keep far from the stone problem.

I have to agree with the original post. I do exactly this when advising my clients on what to eat. As some of the other people have said, eating a natural and close to the ground is how we should be eating and avoiding all most processed foods, such as pasta and all bread and avoid rice.

I agree with your 5 tips but if you want to go a step further you can always become vegetarian. I got some time ago a free vegetarian kit and after reding the info never touched meat again Very Happy You can also try reading the book Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foen. After I stopped eating meat I lost about 15 pounds in 2 months. Maybe for some this is not much but I never gained back that weight. Thanks for the information. This gives a good advice to people who run behind controlling their meals in order to loose weigh which will be more harmful for their life. Having a balance diet with all nutrients involved will make life healthier and fit.

Yes control the weight gain and extra fat with taking the healthy foods is good for health. Eating the fresh and sugar free food is very good to the health perspective.

First of all decide your diet.Plan for that and take meal according to plan.Avoid oily food.Take meal whenever u get hungry.
