[quote:48b7="Garthy"]Fair Singer - apologies for the lack of feedback, I have been so busy with family, work and rugby commitments I have not been on the forum for ages.

Your commitment is excellent and you seem very focused, good on you girl :-)

Have you noticed your general health and fitness improving? Do you feel better about yourself?[/quote]

Hey Garthy,

Have updated about my last two weeks in the gym. To answer your questions, my overall fitness tends to go up and down depending on what I've done recently. For example I am now more able to get my speed up on the X-Trainer and Wave Machine. However today my fitness levels were bad, I think because I was drinking on the weekend. I suppose I do feel a bit healthier sometimes. However I don't think it's made any difference to my phsique.

Haven't been exercising much over the festive period as I've been away from the gym and then was sent to London for work but here is this weeks exercise -

* Rower - Rowed 1000 metres (Level 4)
* Wave - 10 minutes (Level 6)
* Step Machine - 2 minutes (Level 5)
Tuesday:
* X-Trainer - 6 mins - Go up one level every minute (Level started 5)
* Exercise bike - 20 minutes (random setting)

Thursday:
* One hour salsa class

Friday:
* Exercise bike - 20 minutes (random setting)

Wow I've not been on here for a while. However I've been trying to go to the gym either two or three times a week. I've also signed up to do the 10k Race For Life and so have begun running once a week. The first week I did 7.5k and the second week 10k. I'm hoping if I do 10k every week I'll be able to run the whole thing by the end rather than walking parts of it!

Good plan - my wife is doing this as well, she is building up to a 10k run slowly adding distance each time. It doesent matter if you do walk a bit anyway you will be helping a wirthy cause and getting fit at the same time :-)
