Replacing vegetable oil with olive oil...
Replacing vegetable oils with olive oil is such an easy substitute to make but can have real health benefits! Olive oil is full of monounsaturated fats and can help control your LDL levels (bad cholesterol), and increase your HDL (good cholesterol). Vegetable oil on the other hand contains a lot of saturated fat and trans fats, which are very bad for you. Personally, I can barely tell the difference when I'm frying things and cooking. The only time I can tell the difference is when I'm using the oil as a dressing, but even then I prefer the taste of olive oil.
What oil do you all use for frying?

I almost exclusively use olive oil. Being Italian, I cook everything with olive oil. I do have some vegetable oil in the house, but I can't remember the last time I used it. Probably when I was baking a cake or something.
