This is a topic to put up things that you find whilst exercising that you're not sure are really normal and you'd like to check with Garthy and Taz and other exercisers.

So I'll put mine first:

Is it normal to be hungry ALL the time now I exercise more? What should I be eating now? I always have breakfast but end up starving after a session in the gym. What can I have for breakfast to prevent this?

But they all look at you as if you're crazy for being in 'their' section scratch

Your body will be operating at a higher metabolic rate when you exercise so it is natural to feel hungrier. Eat complex carbs every 3-4 hours, this will provide a slow release of energy throughout the day and prevent hunger pangs :-)

No!!! This is a common issue for females in the gym and blokes who are not happy with their physiques! If it really bothers you then try and work round it by exercising at different times when it is quiet or find a gym where there is a seperate room for bodybuilders or a womens only gym. Remember though your goals are important and you should not feel intimidated by going to the gym so get in there and do your stuff!
