Easter Cakes Recipe Empty Easter Cakes Recipe

Post by fair singer Fri Apr 04, 2008 4:32 am

This is my recipe for [color:997b=indigo]Easter Nest Cakes I don't know how healthy it is, someone may need to check...

You will need:
* 2 packs of either cooking chocolate or dark chocolate
* A box of shredded wheat
* Either a packet of mini eggs or some small fluffy chicks
* Paper cake cases

Instructions:
* Boil a pan of water and using a heat-proof bowl gently melt the chocolate
* Start to break the shredded wheat up into a bowl
* Once the chocolate is thoroughly melted start to fold in the broken up shredded wheat, it will take in more shredded wheat than you think so keep stirring and folding it into the chocolate until some of the wheat isn't coated and there's no chocolate left sticking to the bowl
* Start to distribute the mixture into your paper cake cases
* When all the mixture is distributed place a egg or fluffy chick into the centre of the cake

Awesome recipe - if you use green & blacks organic chocolate this is quite a healthy snack.

I will add it to the desserts section and will send you a prize for submitting it! Very Happy

Hi there - I must be honest and say this is not the healthiest recipe but can be modified slightly so it is not tooo bad!! Also it is good to have a cheat meal once a week or so to stop your body storing fat! If you are dieting every day then your body will adapt to this and store fat as an energy source, eating a cheat meal will "trick" your body into thinking it does not need to store fat and so can actually help as part of a well constructed diet.

If you have a look at the recipes section on our website you will see many nutritious and healthy recipes including desserts!

Easter Cakes Recipe Empty best recipes

Post by kevin_bell Mon Apr 16, 2012 4:11 am

thanks for all.
but I was wondering if there are any good recipes out there for the Pronokal protein diet? I still have some doubts about starting the diet but It did catch my ear that the method they use is very strict. Perhaps that is just what I need right now. They talk about medical supervision and being followed-up by dietitians.
But because it is a long way to go, I want to be sure that I will still have something tasteful to eat during the process. So is there anyone out there that is on the Pronokal program and that can help me out with some good recipes? It would really help me out a lot.
